My Approach
I was born in a small town, and my journey has been anything but ordinary. Growing up, I faced numerous challenges that shaped my understanding of intimacy and connection. My early experiences with rejection and misunderstanding led me to explore the deeper aspects of human relationships. With a background formed through both personal struggle and professional insight, I became dedicated to helping others understand and embrace their own sexuality and ultimately personal acceptance leading to a stronger emotional well-being.
Through my own trials, including unhealthy relationships and the search for authentic love, I fully understand the importance of open communication and vulnerability. My mission is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can confront their fears, confusion, and insecurities regarding their sexual identities and desires. I believe that everyone deserves to experience love and acceptance, both from themselves and others.
I have spent years working with men, women, couples and groups, helping clients unravel their inner conflicts and break free from societal expectations and stigma built on ignorance and wrongful judgements due to lack of knowledge. This journey led me to create Above Norms, where I challenge the conventional definitions of sexuality and intimacy. Here, I empower my clients to embrace their true selves, resulting in acceptance and understanding in a world that sadly still stigmatizes alternative sexual expressions and lifestyles.
At Above Norms, I offer a unique perspective on sexual therapy that combines empathy and 30 years of real-world experience. My clients often describe me as a compassionate guide and mentor who helps them explore their sexual identities and desires without fear of judgment. With countless conversations and experience under my belt, I've gained profound insights into the vastness of human sexuality and the psychology behind it, allowing me to provide valuable advice that goes beyond traditional therapy models. Many clients come to me after feeling misunderstood and awkward in conventional therapy settings, seeking a more relatable approach that resonates with their experiences.
The name 'Above Norms' represents my belief that we can rise above societal stigmas and embrace our authentic selves because nobody is identical sexually. It symbolizes the importance of open conversation about sexuality, especially topics that are often deemed taboo as they are the most misunderstood. I provide a confidential and supportive environment for my clients to explore their feelings and desires, whether through virtual sessions or in-person meetings. With a focus on compassion and honesty, I aim to create a space where clients can feel safe to express their innermost thoughts and desires.

I believe that understanding and embracing one’s sexuality is an essential part of personal growth. My philosophy is grounded in the idea that every individual has the right to explore their desires without fear or shame. Through my extensive experience in sexual therapy and kink education, I have witnessed the transformative power of open conversations about BDSM, kinks and fetishes. My goal is to normalize these discussions and help clients view their sexual identities and fantasies as a natural aspect of who they are.
As part of my mission, I strive to challenge outdated societal norms and encourage a more inclusive understanding of sexuality. Yesterdays "abnormal" has become todays "normal". In fact, "normal" differs from person to person and no longer goes in a singular direction in today's society. It has branched out in a multitude of directions regarding sexual identity and desires. Together, we can pave the way for a culture that celebrates diversity through understanding and true acceptance. Life is indeed a journey, and I am here to support you through the complexities of your sexual life and relationships. I hope to do this by sharing my vast knowledge surrounding anything "sex", but specifically, my hands-on experience in all things considered taboo, particularly when it comes to kink and fetish.
